Accommodations

Folklore Village offers three types of accommodations:

Camping (in tent or vehicle) : $8 per tent per night ($16 for the weekend). Most people tent near Farwell Hall, the dance hall. Showers and bathrooms are located in Farwell Hall. There's a smaller tenting area near the bunkhouses about a 5 minute walk down the road. Please reserve the Farwell Hall lot for car-sized vehicles; additional parking for larger vehicles is in the overflow lot across Cty Hwy BB north of the Plum Grove Church.
Rustic Bunkhouse: $20 per person per night ($40 for the weekend), within walking distance (3 blocks from Farwell Hall). Several twin size cots are available in two nongendered buildings. Bring your own bedding, pillow, towel, flashlight, etc. There's electricity, hand pump for water, and a clean pit toilet. Access to flush toilets and showers are in Farwell Hall, about a 5 minute walk up the road. The bunkhouses have new HVAC units (installed late 2023), so their temperature should be more consistent than in prior years. Some folks have occasionally reported the bunkhouses have some musty air.
RV camping with electric: $15/night ($30 for the weekend). Availability is limited for this option. Please contact SquirrelMoonReg@gmail.com for more information.

Folklore Village also offers EV charging at the cost of $5 per use, payable in cash on site.

Motels are available nearby in:

Dodgeville, about a 10 minute drive west:

Barneveld, about a 10 minute drive east

and in Mineral Point, about a 15-20 minute drive west.
